Marsciano - Sasso dei Lupi Soc. Agr.

Established in 1959 on the green hills of the Umbria region as a cooperative vine-growers association, Sasso dei Lupi has been producing premium wines since 1967.
Today, it consists of 1,264 members - with more than 1,100 hectares of varietal grape vineyards located in some of Italy’s most favorable terroirs in the provinces of Perugia and Terni.
In 1979, Sasso dei Lupi was the first winery in Italy to experiment the centrifugation and cooling of grape must by means of ultra modern equipment allowing low-temperature fermentation by selected natural yeasts.

Since then, Sasso dei Lupi has initiated an important development process focused on two top-priority objectives: the renewal of the vineyards and the improvement in the techniques of vinification.
