The strong sense of belonging to the roots and the interest in the rediscovery of the "good food" and "good wine" are the basis of the concept of the inn, Di Vin Porcello ( Di Wine Swine) an ironic play on words to convey a clear message.
Open on Fridays and Saturdays evening, with its rich traditional warm and friendly environment, is a synthesis of the Slow Food National culture and the regional traditional cuisine.
The continuous search for quality has slowly led to a very careful selection of the most valuable products of our territory.
Meat of fine breeds, fed and grown strictly as in the traditional way: Chianina, Limousine and Black Angus, grilled and served on heated soapstone, homemade pasta with particular shapes such as Tonnarelli, served on boards made from the precious wood of the olive trees of the Poggio, soup recipes from the best peasant-based tradition, seasonal ingredients, and finally, delicious cakes, parfaits and mousses.
The selection of wines, great food inevitable companions, is under the responsibility of Giulio, host for passion, and with his familiarity and experience, has created a rich reserve of the finest national and regional wine labels with an emphasis on the most significant years.
The passing of seasons is fully respected in the choice of ingredients at the base of the wonderful dishes, creating theme nights dedicated to mushrooms, soups, polenta and truffles.

From Rome: Motorway A1 del Sole (exit Orte) Highway E45 direction Perugia (exit Pontenuovo); at the exit go right and at the stop just down the road on the left following the white and black signs for Il Poggio degli Olivi.
Cesena: E45 highway towards Foligno (exit Bastia Umbra Umbriafiere). At the exit turn left, at the traffic lights left again and then straight up to Bettona following the white and black signs for Il Poggio degli Olivi.
