The territory of the Strada dei Vini del Cantico offers the possibility of choosing from among a diversified range of quality wines: there is a wine classified as DOCG (Denominazione d' Origine Controllata e Garantita), recognition of the particular excellence attributed to some DOC wines of national and international renown and 5 wines classified as DOC (Denominazione d'Origine Controllata), which indicates quality wines, originating from limited areas (usually of small to medium dimensions), whose oeno-chemical (dry extract, total acidity, etc.) and organolectic (colour, odour, taste) characteristics must respect the parameters dictated by the so-called "Production rules".
