“Il Poggio” is located on the hillsides between Torgiano and Brufa. A glance at the surroundings quickly explains the name of Poggio alle Vigne: vineyards and olive groves in stately and orderly rows. A short white gravel road descends through olive trees on one side and a pergola on the other, arriving at a 17th-century farmhouse surrounded by a thick hedge of scented rosemary.
A lovely lawn shaded by large umbrella pines, olive trees, oleanders and sumptuous oak trees surrounds the house. Looking out over the natural terrace, the eyes are almost lost in the vineyards before looking up again and finding the church-towers of Perugia.

From the Highway A1 take the Freeway E45 direction to Perugia. After Perugia go on to Terni-Rome and exit at Torgiano: follow signs for Torgiano, then continue in the direction of Assisi and at the crossroad take for Brufa on road S.P. 401; approximately 500 metres after the crossroad, you will see the gate of Poggio alle Vigne on your left
